Course Description
SYNOPSIS
The Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Communications) encompasses the broad discipline of electronic engineering with a specialization in communication technology. This program is designed through the basics of electrical and electronics engineering which includes mathematics, the basics of electricity and electronics, the basics of computers and programming, the basics of communication systems, semiconductor devices, wiring assembly, and computer-aided design that can produce skilled and versatile graduates, in addition to providing emphasis on areas of specialization at the end of the program. The specialization courses involved in this program are telephony, optical fibre communication systems, data, and network communication, wireless communication, and microwave devices.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
SPM graduate
1. Malaysian
2. Have SPM or equivalent
3. Pass the Malay
4. Pass History (SPM 2013 and above)
5. Pass English
6. Get THREE (3) honours in the following subjects:
1. Mathematics
2. ONE (1) Science/Technical/Vocational/STEM Elective subject
3. ONE (1) other subject that has not been taken into account
7. Candidates do not have visual (blindness, colour blindness), hearing, physical or learning disabilities that make practical work difficult

1. Malaysian
2. Passed MQA-recognized Certificate level studies/Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 3 in a related field
