THE DEPARTMENT OF MARINE ENGINEERING

The Diploma in Marine Engineering Program (DKP) was introduced to Ungku Omar Polytechnic (PUO) in 1972 by the Malaysian Government through the cooperation of the Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), an agency from Japan under the Colombo Plan. The Japanese Government has provided learning equipment and facilities worth 1.3 million ringgit along with five Japanese advisors.
