Program Synopsis
The program aims to produce graduates who are committed to using civil engineering technology to promote a sustainable economy. In addition, they are expected to act as guardians of our environment and resources, be effective agents for sustainable change, and educate others about the benefits of a more sustainable society.
BCT is a four-year full-time program and is structured to be more practically oriented than conventional science-based engineering degree programs. Students are exposed to practical-based training throughout the coursework of eight semesters with a weightage of 60% practical and 40% theory including two semesters of Work-Based Learning (WBL). The curriculum emphasizes the development of a strong foundation in civil engineering, the application of technology to achieve sustainability and an understanding of business fundamentals, and regulations.
To keep up with the rapid technological developments and evolving needs in today’s industry, students will undergo two semesters of structured on-the-job training with WBL with key industry players in the country. This collaborative program aims to equip students with the latest knowledge and skills that are applied in real and current situations. Graduates from this program will have direct industry experience with technical knowledge and be dynamically competent to meet the needs and requirements of society and the industry.

Program Synopsis
The BET programme is designed to encompass the field of electrical engineering discipline. Students will engage in an academic curriculum consisting of modules in mathematics, fundamentals of electricity, electronics, and solid-state devices. Furthermore, the programme also provides specialized modules in advance field of electric and electronic application such as energy efficiency, communication technology and machine learning. Towards the end of the programme, students will go through a WBL course which includes equipment wiring, power and renewable energy, electronic system, and telecommunication. The addition to imparting technical knowledge and skills, the programme also places significant emphasis on the holistic development of the individual student’s potentials by offering courses that aim to cultivate their specific abilities in an integrated manner such as Falsafah dan Isu Semasa, Cocurriculum and Entrepreneurship.

Program synopsis
The Bachelor of Computer Engineering Technology with Honours (BCE) programme is designed to cover the computer engineering discipline. Students would undergo an academic curriculum consisting of modules in mathematics, computer, electrical, and electronics. In addition, the programme also offers specialized modules in Robot Vision Application, CMOS Integrated Circuit Design and Fabrication, Wireless Communication, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision Programming. Towards the end of the programme, students will go through a WBL. During this period, the students will be able to enhance their skills and knowledge based on current industrial needs and technology. While in the industry, students will be exposed to courses that includes Equipment and Operation in Engineering Technology, Technical Support and Services for Engineering Technology, Engineering Technologist Soft Skills, Engineering Technology Project 1, Engineering Technology Project 2, and Engineering Technologist Technical Assessment Report, all with guidance from the industry mentor. Apart from delivering technical knowledge and skills, the programme also emphasizes the development of each student’s potential in an integrated and holistic manner through courses such as Falsafah dan Isu Semasa, Co-curriculum, Foreign Language, and Entrepreneurship.

Program Synopsis
The Bachelor of Marine Engineering Technology with Honours is designed to cover the current broad disciplines and practices of marine engineering with additional specialization subjects in marine engineering. It also emphasizes the operation and maintenance of ships’ main propulsion plants, marine power generation, shipbuilding and naval architecture. The programme also includes basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, entrepreneurship and sustainable environment. This programme offers for eight (8) semesters which includes Work Based Learning (WBL) or sea training for two (2) semesters in the field. The education and training programmes conducted are designed not only to meet but to exceed the minimum levels of skills and competencies set out in the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping of Seafarers (STCW 1978 – Manila Amendment 2010) Course Module 7.04 edition 2014 and other relevant national and international guidelines. This course is developed from four functions at the management level base on International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Model Course 7.02. On successful completion of the course and the requisite watchkeeping experience, officers will be prepared for taking full responsibility for the safety of the ship, its passengers, crew and cargo. They will be aware of their obligations under international agreements and conventions concerning safety and the protection of the marine environment and will be prepared for taking the practical measures necessary to meet those obligations. Students who completed this programme will be exempted from Part A of STCW. Certificate of Competency (CoC) Chief and Second Engineer Officer ≥ 3000 kW Unlimited Trade Voyages by the Malaysia Marine Department (MMD), Ministry of Transport (MoT) Malaysia and compulsory to undergo several mandatory modular courses to qualify students for CoC oral examination organized by the MMD. This modular course covers various skill elements such as workplace safety, incident handling and management as well as protecting and preserving the environment.

Program Synopsis
The Bachelor of Architectural Technology promises to produce holistic, balanced and entrepreneurial graduates through its programme’s design and delivery. The programme will provide graduates with architectural technology knowledge with additional advanced skills in Building Information Modelling (BIM) to work in the construction industry or pursue further studies in a related field. The programme is focused on the technical-design discipline, and the courses are studio-based with project-oriented learning and work-based learning approaches. In addition to the discipline core courses, elective courses are offered for the students to explore new interest areas as well as enhance their competencies in the discipline core. To ensure that students possess the interpersonal and communication skills needed to thrive in the industry, teamwork and leadership roles, group discussions, seminars and presentations are embedded in the course delivery and assessments.
